The plan of making 12 cakes in a year doesn’t seem daunting or too much, but somehow trying to find people to give them to is always a dilemma for me. I basically have two groups of people I typically give desserts to – my lovely friends and my coworkers. Since there is no one around the office (since all the managers were gone for a week long training in Orlando and it was almost Thanksgiving) and it’s not busy at work, I decided to reduce down this recipe to as small as I could. Baking: Mini Pumpkin Muffins


As I was finishing up the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, I realized I had a lot of pumpkin puree left over, but I also didn’t want to remake those chocolate chip cookies again so I needed to find other recipes that used pumpkin puree.  I did some more research and found this great recipe for mini muffins – covered in cinnamon sugar.

Baking: Mexican Hot Chocolate Cookies


I always try to bake and send some of the things based on that inspiring me to bake near each holiday.  Not to say that Mexican hot chocolate is particularly Thanksgiving like, but somehow, it appealed to me to make.  I’m not 100% sure what it was, but I think it is just because it sounded interested and I decided to give it a try.

Baking: Chocolate Cupcakes

This chocolate cupcake project started in early November when one of my closest girlfriends in the City wanted to surprise her boyfriend with cupcakes after his 2 week trip home to Australia. She decided quickly she wanted to make chocolate something since he loves chocolate so I found a great little recipe that seemed like it would make a great batch.
