Baking: Peach “Cobbles”

When I found out the boyfriend had a cast iron pan, I knew I had to start making some of the items in the book that required this pan. Since there were a few, I decided to start with this cobbler recipe. That’s where everything went wrong.

First off, he didn’t take care of his cast iron all that well (which I didn’t know at the time), so that created some issues when I make the cobbler. Secondly, I kept it in the pan overnight so some of the iron may have seeped into the dish making it taste a bit…tinny. Again, I’m not 100% sure what happened, but it definitely wasn’t the best dish I had ever made. Also, since the dish called for frozen peaches, we bought what we needed, but it was much more expensive than regular peaches. In all, that wasn’t the best dish I’ve ever made (so far all bad experiences with cooked fruit with the boyfriend). Oh well, I’ll have to try again.

You actually make it appear so easy along with your presentation however I in finding this matter to be actually one thing that I think I’d never understand. It sort of feels too complicated and extremely huge for me. I’m looking forward to your next put up, I’ll attempt to get the dangle of it!
