Cooking: Fried Rice

Fried rice – being an asian girl who grew up with her mom cooking everything – I’ve had my fair share of fried rices.

Alton Brown’s version is good – but it is much more complicated than what I’m used to at home. Also his version didn’t include eggs – I feel like a fried rice needs to have some fried eggs in it. His version included tofu, edamame, and a great blend of soy sauce, sesame oil, and chili garlic spicy sauce.

We had some leftover diced ham so we wanted to add a bit more protein in it and egg for more! The total dish was ingredient heavy, but really delicious.  More than enough for multiple meals.
