The past couple of recipes from Avid Baker’s Challenge have been savory and I just don’t have enough people to feed other than myself. This recipe, though, was easy to make and really delicious.
Finding really ripe bananas at the grocery store was actually kind of difficult. I just decided to find the ones that were the most ripe and then I kept them out and hoped and crossed my fingers they would ripen up.
The recipe was really actually pretty simple. Other than bananas, I had everything at home. I also just love a recipe that has hints of chocolate in it. The bananas on top in this buttery brown sugar caramel was an amazing topping.
I definitely had a few more bites of the cake than I intended and left myself a bit for the rest of the week. But the rest of it is going to friends and work!
